BEAD WEAVING FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN. INTERESTING CIRCUITS WITH PHOTO FOR BEGINNERS
Beadwork. Bead WEAVING FOR ADULTS and children.
Beadwork is the process of turning a handful of colorful beads into a handmade creation. For beginners, detailed photos and schemes for describing the process of work are suitable – master classes.
To create a product from beads of any plan, auxiliary tools are needed. The range of materials used is large, it depends not only on the goals of the work, but on what should be the result, as well as on the personal preferences of the master.
In the process of working and gaining experience, it is necessary to determine and choose for yourself the most convenient and preferred tools.
Depending on the tasks and personal preferences, it is recommended to use several thread options in the work: Reinforced thread with lavsan. Such a thread can be of various colors. It is durable and wear-resistant, made of synthetic elastic fibers, pleasant to the touch, reminiscent of a natural material.
Monofilament. In a different way monofilament is a thin fishing line. It is used if there is no thread of the required color or if it is necessary to fix the beads with an invisible fastener, it will also ideally be combined with light beads and transparent beads.
Beadwork wire. The wire is not only of different colors, but also of different thicknesses. Thickness is selected depending on the purpose of the work. Suitable wire for volumetric compositions. For more experienced needlewomen, rubber threads are needed, and for specific tasks, silk and cotton threads are needed.
Bead needles are thinner than regular sewing needles. Such needles come with different ears, it is recommended to use a needle with a wide eye so that in the process of work there are no difficulties with threading the thread into the needle. However, if small beads are used, for example No. 15, then a needle with a small eye is needed.
A long needle is used for weaving, since a short needle is needed for embroidery with beads. But there are times when it is extremely inconvenient to work with a long needle: the long end makes it difficult to maneuver, bites into the fingers or bends the needle, then it is recommended to have a short needle in stock to complete the intended action.
FOR MORE EXPERIENCED NEEDLEWOMERS, RUBBER THREADS ARE REQUIRED, AND SILK AND COTTON THREADS ARE REQUIRED FOR SPECIFIC TASKS. The needles used for beads are issued under the numbers: the thickest needle is No. 1. The most commonly used are needles No. 12: short for beads, 35-45 mm long and long for beads 50-55 mm long. Experienced craftsmen recommend needles made in England and Japan.
In addition to the most important tools, such as a needle and thread, a number of auxiliary devices will be required in the work. Some are essentials, some are used less frequently in the work process.
List of required tools:
Pliers. Used to mount items such as a tripod, ring or chain. Pliers are needed to fasten the beads to each other using auxiliary elements.
Round pliers. Using this tool, you can create your own rings of metal, bend any parts, round chains.
Scissors. It is important to choose a sharp tool. It is recommended to use manicure scissors. They will be required for use in hard to reach places.
Spinner for beadwork. The device for a quick set of beads on the wire. It is purchased at the store, or it is made independently.
Needlework tweezers.Beadwork. Bead WEAVING FOR ADULTS and children. Such tweezers need to work with small parts. With tweezers, it is possible not only to pick up the thread, but also to fix the bead in the finished product, to take a small element.
